Frankfort, the capital city of Kentucky and the home of Kentucky State University, lies on the western edge of the state's Bluegrass region. The city of 30,000, which is more than 200 years old, grew along the banks of the Kentucky River in a small valley bordered by limestone cliffs. Preservation of historic structures throughout the city ads to its picturesque quality. Easily accessible by major highways, Frankfort is within a short drive of Lexington, Louisville and Cincinnati.

Operations & Services
Kentucky State University has a committed staff of professionals in the Operations and Services areas, who are responsible for the day-to-day operations of KSU’s physical environment and the fiscal management of its resources.  By maintaining safe and efficient facilities and overseeing University processes, these departments ensure that our students, faculty and staff have the best learning and working environment possible.

Enrollment Services
Enrollment Services provides information and helps meet the needs of all KSU students, while paying special attention to newly admitted students who may be unfimiliar with their new enviornment.  The offices included in enrollment include the Registrar, Financial Aid and First-Year Experience.
